THE husband and wife team from Asian restaurant FantAsia say they are setting their sights on making their business a national franchise.
The couple already have four locations in Brisbane with restaurants in Westfield Garden City, the Wintergarden, the Myer Centre and their first location, MacArthur Central.
Owner Judy Wong says both she and her husband, John, have more than 35 years of experience in the restaurant business but had taken a 10-year break after moving to Brisbane.
But, Mrs Wong says, their friends and family urged them ‘‘get back into food’’.
‘‘Since opening our first store in MacArthur Central in 2010, we’ve celebrated many successes and have since opened three more FantAsia restaurants.’’
She says her team dedicate themselves to perfecting the menu to give customers a great experience.
‘‘FantAsia’s menu is built on using the freshest seasonal produce and employing traditional cooking methods, ensuring authentic Asian flavours are apparent in every bite,’’ she said.
